It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Lancaster on Thursday 4^th January 2024 age 90 years.

Brian, known as ‘Lanky’ by everyone at Taff’s Well RFC was a well-liked and respected member of our rugby club for many years. He played at second row for the 1^st XV during the  1950s and 60s era and served on the Committee for many years. He was a very popular member of our club with his great wit, sense of humour and warm personality.

Brian attended Pontypridd Grammar School and was a College Lecturer for 30 years at Rhydyfelin Technical College, mainly teaching engineering.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go to his beloved wife Joan, daughter Sue, son Ian and grandchildren Evan and Carys.

Brian’s funeral takes place at Glyntaf Crematorium, Pontypridd at 11.15 am on Wednesday 17^th January 2024. Joan and the family welcome everyone to join them after at Taff’s Well RFC for refreshments and friendship.
