A first half saw Taffs Well cross for three tries ,while the visitors crossed for a try,to give Taffs Well a 17--5 interval lead. The second half saw both sides show some attacking flair which resulted in tries being scored at each end ,however the result never looked in doubt ,with Taffs Well able to score another two tries to seal victory over a side who are one division above Taffs Well.Young wing Ronan Barratt,in his first year of senior rugby ,went over for a brace of tries , with Chris Burgwyn, Adam French and Lewis Edwards all crossing for a try ,while Jamie Field put over three conversions, and a penalty goal .Llandaff never gave up and were rewarded with three second half tries ,but they never looked capable of catching the home side .Captain Gareth Gibbs and his team move back to the league on Saturday with a trip to Glyncoch ,with the second team looking for a home game . The Taffs Well ladies were away to Porth on Sunday ,and although they lost to a very experienced side. all the girls enjoyed the game ,with the scrum going well ,and a lot of skill shown throughout, form a group with who have only been playing for a short time .
