Taffs Well made it three league wins in a row with a bonus point 32 -5 win at home to Caerau Ely on Saturday .The side had to be re shuffled due to unavailability and injuries but this did not stop another excellent performance from a team which is playing with full of confidence . The visitors were very good in the set piece but struggled with discipline at vital times and also copeing with the attacking flair the Taffs Well side showed on a number of occasions .At times cutting through their defense with ease ,scoring six tries in total . Captain Gareth Gibbs,Max Watkins Gavin Close and Garyn Lucas each went over for a try, while second row Jonathan Barry helped himself to a brace of tries .The only kick to go over came from a conversion from Gavin Close .Caerau Ely were rewarded for their efforts with a try but it made little difference to the result.
On Saturday Llandaff are the visitors th Maes Gwyn in the second round of the Swalec bowl ,kick off 2.30pm,while the second xv travel the short distance to Tongwynlais for a Mallett cup game.
