Howard 'Ikey' Price
It is with sadness that we announce the recent passing of our former player and captain, Howard ‘Ikey’ Price aged 81 years.
Howard was a well respected member of our rugby club. He played at prop forward for the 1st XV during the 1960s and 70s era and went on to captain the club. Howard was very instrumental in the development of our rugby ground at Maes Gwyn. He also served on the Committee for a number of years.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go to his daughters Sarah and Bethan, grandchildren Laurie and Luke and his two great grandchildren.
Howards’s funeral takes place on Thursday 11th April with a family service at the Castell Court Funeral Home followed by burial at Ty Rhiw cemetery at 11.00. Sarah, Bethan and family welcome everyone to join them after at Taff’s Well RFC from 12.00 for refreshments and friendship.
