How Can I Become a Vice-President?

Taff's Well RFC Vice Presidents Fund:  2018-19 SEASON

Introduction: Following the success of the Vice-Presidents’ Fund for the last four years the Management Committee has decided to continue this initiative for the 2018-19 season. The Vice Presidents’ Fund is designed to provide additional support to help with the development of senior rugby, and in particular the 1st XV. Being a member of the Vice President Club will provide the opportunity for closer involvement with the 1st XV throughout the season.

Donations: All members of the Vice-President Club will donate a minimum of £120 per season. This can be paid either in full or monthly by standing order.

Benefits of Membership of the Fund: In return for the donation members of the Vice-President Club will be kept up-to-date with all club activities.

The VP package will include:

  • Free Club membership for the 2018-2019 season.
  • Free Entry to ALL home games

4 pre-match hospitality events during and after games which includes free alcoholic drinks, tea/coffee and hot/cold buffet for selected home games.  The free bar will extend from 1.30 – 4.30p.m and will include beer and lager drinks (short alcoholic drinks are not included). Complimentary bottles of wine will be provided at the events.

  • Two free draws of two home international tickets – games to be chosen by the General Committee. Various prize draws.
  • Vice Presidents’ names to be listed in all home match programmes.

Where will the VP Fund be spent?

Your donation will be ring-fenced within the Rugby Club’s accounts and will be used in its entirety for the benefit of senior rugby at Taff’s Well RFC. Donations to the Vice-Presidents Fund will be mainly used to provide:

  • Indoor fitness training during the winter months
  • Additional specialist coaching and equipment
  • Approved physiotherapy sessions to aid recovery from injury (based on recommendation by the Club’s physiotherapist)
  • No money from this fund will be spent on players’ refreshments or Club tours

The Vice President’s Fund will be fully accounted and open to scrutiny at any time. An account of expenditure will be sent to each member of the Vice President Club at the end of the season.
